Our Ancestors from Bilgram

 Syed Raza Hussain services were admired and confirmed by British regime:-
served in various capacity and finally Deputy Collector in 1800-1900 at North West Province and oudh.
16 May 1897 - Barabanki
Deputy Commissioner W. H. Moreland c.s. wrote to Commissioner Mulock  recomending a title for Syed Raza Hussain.

20 July 1898 - Fyzabad
Commissioner "Fyzabad Division" L. Porter, c.s. confirmed the order of Honerable, the lieutenant Governor and Chief Commissioner North Western Provinces and Oudh 'recognition of meritorious services of Deputy Collector - Syed Raza Hussain during the Famine of 1896 and 1897 in North Western Province and Oudh
24 September 1898 - Rai Bereli
Deputy Commissioner T.C.Edwards c.s.  certified the services of Munshi Syed Raza Hussain as excise officer in negociation.
25 November 1898 - Rae Bereli
Deputy Commissioner P. Wydham c.s. confirmed the capability of work and abilities of Munshi Syed Raza Hussain in bringing the excise revenue to formal level and good grasp of Excise Administration
NB: It appears Munshi was a title of that time although it is not yet confirmed from any document.

Sanitary Commissioner ..S. J. Thmson c.i.e. of NWP and Oudh conveyed to Deputy Magistrate Rai Bareli Syed Raza Hussain ,the directive of His Honor the Lieutnenant  Governor and chief Commissioner regarding acknowledgment of Government for special assistance to the operation of the Vaccination Department during the season of 1897-98 .
16 November 1899 - Gazipur
Magistrate and Collector W. Tudball c.s.confirmed energetic and hard work done intelligently and capability of officer Syed Raza Hussain
  9 December 1900- Gazipur .
 Magistrate and Collector H. T. Morgan, c.s.confirming and appreciating the quality of work of Deputy Collector Syed Raza Hussain and recomended him suitable for native state.

November in my life

There is hardly any day/date of every body's life that has not left any effect, however in my case months have momentum. Now November has already started in east and shall reach us in midnight. Here are some YAAD A'AYA.
  I st November 1943 is written on documents as my Birth Day.
Our grand daughter ( Abbas & Jabeen's daughter) born on 2nd November 1997 (Sunday) at 8.30 pm in PNS Hafeez Hospital Islamabad (Dr. Talia Imran). Mashallah she is smart, lovely. intelligent and caring child of ourfamily. She is good in her education and equally participating in curricular activities of Head Start School and Islamabad city.
There are other close one's birthdays.
My younger brother Akhtar's nikkah was on 18 November 1975 at Karachi like wise one sister in law Zarina added to our family, and other related functions and unforgettable events were part of weddings.
19 November 2003 was death of Amman.

October in my life - Yaad e Maazi Khoob Hai ya Rub, Kabhi na cheenna hafza mera

The month of October has a great significance in my life. It's brought many new events and unforgettable moments, some of them are pleasing & attractive while others are horrible and terrible experiences. One of the latest is the earth quack of 11th October 2010 0245 a.m. and simultaneously another one was 8th October 2005 0800 a.m.( one of the largest earth quack of the World) followed with thousands of after shocks. The  hidden power of shaking the earth, huge mountain was a miserable experience.

 The marriage ceremony of my son Hyder with Rabbiya held on 10 October 2008 followed by a grand reception at Gulf court Rawalpindi was a remarkable event. An addition of a lovely lady who is from a Zaidi family originated from Hamdan Iran and presently settled in  Rawalpindi, was warmly welcomed by all family members.            

                                                                                                                                                           Bhaijan (Akbar Bilgrami) marriage 15th October 1965 and a reception at R 1107/17 Federal B Area was a new experiment and excitement for such arrangements of  a lovely occasion, likewise the addition of young beautiful lady Bhabijan (Shama Bilgrami) in our family, was the happiness for all members of our family.

.   Our daughter Rabab was born on 1st October 1972 in Karachi at Imam Memeorail Hospital, and his youngest son and our grand son Hasnain was born on 13th October 2006 in Islamabad at Talia Clinic. Both mother and son are attractive personality and liked by other family members equally.

     I joined National Shipping Corporation ( Now well known as  PNSC) in Octoiber 1964 . NSC (PNSC) was highest paid employer in Pakistan in 1969-74  even their drivers and head peon were liable to pay Income tax.                                                                                                         

First time, I was separated from my family (wife, 3 children & Amman Plus parents and all other relatives in Karachi) in October 1974 as planned to go to Canada but later stuck in Bahrain, Arabian Gulf.                 

      I resigned from National Shipping of Company of Saudi Arabia the fifth largest company of  KSA in October 1992 for final departure to Karachi in connection with marriages of  daughters. .                                                                                                                                             

Sad demise of  Pappa (Zair Hasnain Jafri ) on 18th October 1994 was certainly a great loss of  a loving and caring father in law.                                                                   .                                                                                                                                                                    A life imprisonment with hardship was one of the most loving experience of life in the shape of Marriage on 12 October 1967. This wedding awarded me the best jailer in shape of wife Farrukh Fatima Jafri (my Jeem) who made the environment of this jail so beautiful, lovable and caring that --(-" Itne man'noose say'yad se hoe gaye ki ab rihaye miley gee toe mer jain gey.") today I can quote for her "One of the best life partner for me, a good daughter for her parents, a good daughter in law who cared Amman (mujh ko palne wali khala) until her death and last days of Baji Amman (my mother) on her death bed, a good sister for her brothers & sisters, a good sister law & mother in law and over all the best mother and grand mother and friend for all, She hardly speaks bad for some-one, and well-wisher for all for ever. Today is12 October 2010 and I have successfully passed my 43 years of married life and Alhamdulilah that all things are like the same as longtime back I dreamed it for.

Bride Ist visited  to R-1107/17 and Hadees Kasa was read there. The reason for this was that bride steps should be at own home, more-over there should not be any different status than the first one.   

There were memorable events on marriage day, following day and reception (Valima) on 14th October 1967  at Aisha Manzil, number of persons from Office (NSC) Bhaijan & Aktar friends family members & relatives, neighbours and few close ones attended it.

YAAD AAYA...... Stay at Bhurikpur - Partapgarh UP India

BHURIKPUR:-     Although I don't recall any thing of my early age bu I do remember certain events and activities when I started walking or things later described, mostly by amman.
Bhurikpur  was a state of Distt Partapgarh which was under Courts of Wards a department designed by
British Govt. for managing state affairs under special circumstances ( such as heir is minor ).  Dadey was Sarbrah-kar (Manager in charge) and was having a large area ( a banglow for living , staff accomodation and open field all around), four house servant, one ziledar, one chaprasi at his disposal.In this place pets, One Horse (dadey bought it for Rs.500 as rejected by army due to its  extra height), four buffaloes one was chambeli, one dog, two ducks (goose) and hens , also  a relay cycle made in England .

I was always a naughty boy and was very courageous and had done many foolish things in early age of life as child .
