Babu My Father Syed Farrukh Hasan Bilgrami son of Syed Faiz Hasan Bilgrami (1903 - 1977)

My father was strong man and lived an honorable life and never asked any support  from mankind for any kind  .

His career which is in my knowledge shall be noted here for General information. I do  have several  memories (good and Bad both) for Babu .
Babu best and favorite son was @Akbar M Bilgrami (Second eldest ) and Daughter Sarwat Fatima .(Eldest among us). It is what we have noticed through his apparent attitude.
Me (Mushir Zaidi ) and youngest brother (Akhtar Bilgrami were not having those levels , .
Babu was  attached with  Conventional Muslim League of  Gen.Ayub khan (1963 to 1967) .and he was attending meetings and Jalsa wa Juloos normally with Gohar Ayub .
He started to make a Library for which a proper Land was marked at Block5 Federal B Area , but it could not be finalized as regime was changed -
Later this land was turned into a residential  place, and small plots for common man
l .
K will add many thing here later but I will post here the Death of my father when me and my younger brother Akhtar were in KSA and One Afzal came to our home in the evening  (it was Holiday), and after some formal talks he had shown me a Telex from my elder brother Akbar (Masroor) informing sudden death of Babu.

Dates For babu anniversary - 27th Moharram 1397 hijra in Pakistan = 18th January 1977 ( 5 PM @ D103/5, F B Area Karachi) Tuesday . BHABHI-JAN ( Shama Bilgrami ) Ka shukria ki unke pass tareekhen likhi hoi hain.

These dates are confirmed as 10th Moharrum was on 1 Jan. 1977

I do hope all these are correct
